Counseling and Pyschotherapy

“And the day came when the risk to remain in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”  – Anais Nin

Starting Therapy

Making the decision to start therapy is a brave and powerful step to take at times when you are feeling vulnerable, experiencing emotional pain, or facing a difficult transition. As a therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe and nurturing space to support you through your challenges. I offer sensitivity and encouragement to help you identify your strengths and understand more deeply self-defeating patterns.

I have over ten years of counseling experience around issues related to childhood trauma, loss, anxiety and depression, relationship conflicts, addiction and chronic illness. Some of the goals I work on with clients include increasing one’s sense of self-worth, understanding ways to develop healthier relationships, improving communication skills, reducing stress and increasing feelings of efficacy.

It’s like I’ve been able to make space in myself by clearing out the old, while becoming more conscious of my patterns, so I can go forward living my life in a more fulfilled and integrated way. The kindness and authenticity that Grace brings to our sessions makes it so much easier for me to relax and focus on whatever is coming up for me at each session.
