Starting Therapy

Making the decision to start therapy is a brave and powerful step to take at times when you are feeling vulnerable, experiencing emotional pain, or facing a difficult transition. As a therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe and nurturing space to support you through your challenges. I offer sensitivity and encouragement to help you identify your strengths and understand more deeply self-defeating patterns.

I have over ten years of counseling experience around issues related to childhood trauma, loss, anxiety and depression, relationship conflicts, addiction and chronic illness. Some of the goals I work on with clients include increasing one’s sense of self-worth, understanding ways to develop healthier relationships, improving communication skills, reducing stress and increasing feelings of efficacy.
